The Alabama Association of Gifted Children (AAGC) now offers a monthly webinar series for parents of gifted children. Each month they choose a different expert to speak virtually about a topic relevant to the unique challenges of raising gifted children. This month’s speaker is broaching a subject that we are all struggling with right now. Executive functions are a broad group of thinking skills that include things like setting and attaining goals, monitoring your own behavior, and working memory. Having strong executive functioning is essential to problem solving and reasoning.
